1st Scout Group
The 1st Scout Group is an organizational unit that contains the Headquarters Council of Baden-Powell Scouting along with other units. The full list of units that belong to the 1st Scout Group are:
Headquarters Council (Lions), Baden-Powell
Scouting
1st Lone Scouts (Eagles)
1st International Crew (Owls)
1st Radio Patrol (HAM)
The Headquarters Council is the chief governing body of Baden-Powell Scouting which oversees the day-to-day operations of the orgainzation. Members of this council include officers such as Chief Commissioner, Camp Chief, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, Quartermaster, among others.
The 1st Lone Scouts includes all Lone Rovers, Scouts, and Wolf Cubs, who live far from existing groups who wish to persue Scouting as a self-guided journey.
The 1st International Crew is a group of advisors from various nations, who are leaders of established member associations belonging to the World Federation of Independent Scouts. Their role is to advise the Headquarters Council as Baden-Powell Scouting develops as an organization. Members of the 1st International Crew include members from Canada and the United Kngdom.
The 1st Radio Patrol is a virtual group for any member of Baden-Powell Scouting who is a HAM radio operator. Members of this group are encouraged to represent Baden-Powell Scouting in activities such as Jamboree-On-The-Air.
